Every seasoned exhibitor knows - when you're packing for the horse show you mustn't forget your paperwork! Coggins, registration papers, entry forms, back numbers! There's no shortage of it, and it all runs through the show office. The show office is really the public face of your horse show. These are very likely to be the first people your exhibitors will interact with, and the last. When they have a question or a problem, to the show office they go. It goes without saying then, that the office staff must be friendly and helpful in their demeanor. However, they also have a very important job to do. Without their diligent work, the show could not run and exhibitors would not receive their hard earned points and awards. So, it is equally important that these individuals are very knowledgeable. They must be familiar with any related national, state, and local level organization rules. In addition to all that, they must be tech saavy. Finding all these traits in one package can prove to be a complicated task. See how we offer this unique blend of skills!

Responsible for overseeing the organized chaos that is the show office, is the Show Secretary. Liz is proud to have served as the Show Secretary for the Ranch Horse Association of Michigan for the last year. Liz has also acted as the Show Office Manager for the MHSA All Breed Youth Show for the last two years, working closely with the Show Managers and Show Secretary. The Youth Show is an especially tedious task and requires a wide range of knowledge, as it is approved by the AQHA, APHA, and PtHA for national points and also the Michigan Quarter Horse Association for state points.
The Ranch Horse Association of Michigan needed to hire show office staff for the 2016 season. We met with EKG and knew immediately they were the right fit. They were very professional and had experience in other associations which would be helpful in running our show office efficiently.
We made the RIGHT decision – EKG staff was always on time and provided service that was excellent to all our members and exhibitors. We heard nothing but good comments about the show office team from the exhibitors at the shows. They are very conscientious about ensuring accuracy in their work which was obvious in the lack of issues reported.
At the close of the 2016 show season, we promptly hired them for the 2017 season and are very pleased to have them back for a 2nd season!
